Refund & Cancellation Policy

Scope

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to tickets, passes, workshop registrations, competition entries, and other paid services offered by Yerevan Open. It should be read together with the Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy.

Prices and Payment

Prices are displayed in the designated currency and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Any additional payment-processing fees are disclosed before payment.

A registration is confirmed only after the required payment has been successfully received.

Participant Cancellations

Unless a specific product page states otherwise, tickets, passes, workshop registrations, and competition entries for events held on a specified date or during a specified period are non-refundable after purchase, subject to mandatory rights under Armenian law.

A transfer of a pass to another person may be permitted before the deadline, subject to availability, verification, and an administrative fee. A transfer does not change the original purchaser’s responsibility for any outstanding amount.

Statutory Withdrawal Rights

For online purchases, statutory withdrawal rights may apply where provided by Armenian law.

The statutory withdrawal right generally does not apply to leisure or entertainment services supplied on a specific date or during a specified period, including Festival passes, workshop tickets, and competition entries with fixed dates.

If you believe your purchase qualifies for a statutory withdrawal right, contact us at the refund email with your order number and purchase details. We will assess the request under applicable law.

Cancellation by the Organizer

If Yerevan Open is cancelled by the Organizer for reasons other than force majeure, the participant will be offered a full refund of the amount paid for the affected ticket, pass, registration, or entry, or a credit or voucher for a future event of equivalent value, where offered and accepted by the participant.

Refunds will be made using the original payment method where reasonably possible.

Postponement or Material Change

If the Festival is postponed or materially changed, the Organizer will notify registered participants and provide the options required by applicable law and reasonably available in the circumstances, which may include transfer to the new date, a refund, or credit.

A change to an individual teacher, timetable, venue, or part of the program does not automatically entitle a participant to a refund if the core nature of the Festival remains substantially unchanged, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

Force Majeure

Force majeure includes events beyond the Organizer’s reasonable control, such as natural disasters, war, civil unrest, epidemics, government restrictions, major transport disruption, or serious and unexpected safety risks.

If force majeure affects the Festival, the Organizer will communicate available options as soon as reasonably possible. The Organizer’s liability is limited to the remedies required by mandatory law and any refund or credit expressly offered for the affected service.

How to Request a Refund or Change

Send a request to the refund email with:

— your full name;

— order or registration number;

— purchased product or pass;

— payment date;

— reason for the request, where relevant;

— preferred remedy, if options are offered.

Requests submitted through unofficial channels may not be processed. We may request reasonable information to verify the purchaser and payment.

Processing Time

Eligible refunds will normally be initiated within the specified number of business days after approval. The time for funds to appear in your account depends on the payment provider and bank.
