Who We Are
The All-Armenian Council of Dance and Sport Dance is the organiser of the festival and a professional public organisation bringing together representatives of dance sport, choreography, and dance clubs from Armenia and the Armenian diaspora.
What We Do
The Council supports the development of dance and sport dance, promotes professional cooperation, and creates opportunities for dancers, coaches, judges, choreographers, and other specialists from Armenia and abroad to exchange knowledge and experience.
Today the Council:
— organises national and international dance events;
— supports the work of dance clubs;
— contributes to professional education and qualification development in the field of dance.
History
Founded on 15 September 2003, the Council has been headed since its registration by President Marianna Mamyan.
On 29 April 2004 the Council organised the First Open Armenian Championship in Show Dance and Sport Dance, establishing a tradition of professional competitions and events dedicated to the development of dance sport in Armenia.
International Membership
The Council is a member of IDO and WD&DS. Its participation in international dance organisations supports professional cooperation, exchange of experience, and the development of events in accordance with international standards.
The festival continues the Council’s long-standing work to promote dance culture, raise the professional level of participants, and strengthen international cooperation in the field of dance.
