Yerevan Open brings dancers, studios and international judges together in the heart of Armenia.
The festival is designed as an open platform for ballroom and Latin dance, welcoming professionals, amateurs and emerging talent.
Created by Grand Master Dance Studio with its partners, the event connects competition, culture and the energy of a shared stage.

Can the team composition be changed after registration?
Yes, changes to the team composition are possible until the organiser’s deadline. Submit the updated participant list to the festival’s official email with your application number. Once the changes are confirmed, you will receive updated participation documents.
What if a participant falls ill or cannot travel?
A participant may be replaced by another dancer from the same team, provided age and category requirements are met. If replacement is not possible, the slot may be performed in a modified lineup. The festival’s regulations describe the conditions for refunding the organisational fee in such cases.
Are certificates or diplomas provided to participants?
All official festival participants receive personalised certificates or diplomas. Additional awards, acknowledgements, and special prizes may be presented at the conclusion of the competition programme, master classes, and special events. The format and language of documents (Armenian, English, Russian) can be specified during registration.
Can translation or accompaniment assistance be arranged?
For foreign teams the organisers may provide volunteer translators or escorts for key festival events. Availability depends on the team’s language and the event schedule. Requests for translation or escort should be sent to the organisers in advance, at registration or no later than the stated deadline.
Are there age restrictions for participants?
The festival welcomes participants across age groups, from children’s teams to adult professional ensembles. Specific age categories, mixed-group requirements, and lineup rules are detailed in the festival regulations. If your lineup is non-standard, write to the organisers — they will help you find the right category.
Is photography and video recording of performances allowed?
Photo and video recording during official festival events may be restricted by venue rules and organiser requirements. Professional coverage is typically handled by the festival’s accredited photographers and videographers. Use of personal devices is permitted if it does not disturb participants or violate event rules.
Where can participants change clothes and store belongings during the festival?
The festival venue provides changing rooms and storage areas for participants' personal items. The location of the changing rooms, their operating hours, and usage rules will be included in the information newsletter sent to registered teams. Valuables should be left at the hotel or kept under the group leader’s supervision.
How can I contact the organisers during the festival?
An information desk operates at the venue during the festival. Contact details for the duty organiser, volunteers, and the support team will be listed in the festival programme, on the website, and in participant information materials. A dedicated phone or messenger channel is also available for urgent questions.
